As part of the Great British Spring Clean campaign, Burstwick Parish Council held a community litter pick on Saturday 18th May. 20 volunteers (11 adults and 9 children) including three parish councillors, the clerk and PCSO Bainton came to help. 17 bags of rubbish was collected from various locations in the village. Contractors working on behalf of the parish council have recently made some repairs and improvements to the play area. Two benches, paid for by a grant from the Burton Pidsea Windfarm fund, have been installed – one in the toddlers play area to replace a damaged wooden bench and one situated next to the cone
The allotments will be judged by an independent panel on Tuesday 10th July. One winner and two runners up will be invited to the July parish council meeting to be presented with their prizes. Good luck!
