A by-election to fill the vacancy will be held if by THURSDAY 17th August 2023 10 electors for the Town/Parish Council give notice in writing to the Chief Executive of the East Riding of Yorkshire Council at County Hall, Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire, HU17 9BA claiming such an election.

Christmas Celebration Event

The Christmas Celebration event is being held on Sunday 1st December. Village Hall and All Saints doors open at 4pm.

Santa and his sleigh, craft stalls, tombola, refreshments, Burstwick Bakers cake stall and children’s craft corner will be in the village hall. Advent wreaths/calendars will be on display and mulled wine will be served in All Saints Church.

Children from Burstwick Primary School and Burstwick Cubs will be singing Christmas carols and songs.

Around 6pm there will be a procession to the village Christmas tree to bless tree and switch on the lights.

Entrance is FREE with all the family welcome.

Sponsored Walk

Parish Councillor Dean James is joining forces with Tracey and Richard Netherton and Trish Hopper to complete a 10 mile sponsored walk.

All funds raised will be evenly split between Burstwick Village Hall (Registered Charity 503800) and Burstwick All Saints.

Burstwick Christmas Celebrations 2017

Christmas Tree

Burstwick is holding its annual ‘Christmas Celebration’ on Sunday 3rd December 2017, from 4pm onwards.

Santa and his sleigh, craft stalls, tombola, refreshments, carol singers, Burstwick bakers cake stall and a children’s craft corner will be in the Village Hall.

Nativity displays, mulled wine and the Remembrance Sunday Poppy cascade by local beavers, cubs and scouts groups will be available in All Saints Church.

The event will also include a torch lit procession to the village Christmas tree with Bishop Alison to bless the tree and switch on the lights.

Entrance is FREE with all the family welcome.
