Concerned about speeding traffic in the village?

The parish council are considering setting up a community speed watch for the village.

We need a minimum of six  residents who are prepared to volunteer for approx 2 hours per month to run the speed watch.

If you are interested, then please attend the next parish council meeting on Thursday 27th February at 7.30pm in the primary school.  Wayne Goodwin from Humberside Police and Crime Commissioners office will be available to explain how it all works and answer any questions you may have.

Sponsored Walk

Parish Councillor Dean James is joining forces with Tracey and Richard Netherton and Trish Hopper to complete a 10 mile sponsored walk.

All funds raised will be evenly split between Burstwick Village Hall (Registered Charity 503800) and Burstwick All Saints.

Litter pick – thank you

Litter Picking

As part of the Great British Spring Clean campaign, Burstwick Parish Council held a community litter pick on Saturday 18th May. 20 volunteers (11 adults and 9 children) including three parish councillors, the clerk and PCSO Bainton came to help. 17 bags of rubbish was collected from various locations in the village. A big thank you to all the volunteers who helped.
